Ski Hohentauern for pleasure skiers
This year, our family business was once again awarded the slope seal of approval (2020/2021)!
Ski Hohentauern presents itself as "small but excellent" with natural snow slopes and a snow-making system from the Moscher valley station to the middle station (1550m above sea level). This means you can glide freely from the summit (1800m) down to the valley on perfectly snow-covered slopes. 30 hectares of wide, well-prepared ski area, no waiting times at the lifts, 11 km of slopes of all levels of difficulty from blue and red to black, and numerous deep snow variants are waiting for you.
At the summit, in addition to the fantastic mountain panorama, our mountain buffet awaits you for a cozy stop at a hut at 1800m above sea level.
Ski lifts, the ski school, and a ski rental are located at a maximum distance of 50m from the bottom station Moscher. You will also find the entrance to the Tauern cross country skiing trail, which offers 14 km for "skating and classic", directly at the house.
The drag lifts take you from 1,250m to the mountain station at 1,800m above sea level. Once at the top, the "Wichtelhütte" awaits you with its sun terrace for a relaxing stop.
We also offer a ski school with ski kindergarten, ski carousel, magic carpet, and "Hoppelpoppelbahn" for abundant fun for our little guests.
Direct access to the Tauern trail. This was awarded the "Styrian Cross Country Seal of Approval"!
