Starting in late November 2024, a new training destination for alpine ski racing will open, created through the collaboration of SOLAB GmbH and Ski Hohentauern. On 12 kilometers of slopes with a vertical drop of up to 550 meters, training for DH, SG, GS, and SL will be possible. Speed disciplines will have run times of 70–80 seconds, and the topography ranges from easy to very challenging.
Training will take place on artificial snow and watered slopes (FIS to WC level), while natural snow slopes will be available for U16 to U10 categories. Up to 20 teams can train simultaneously, with 2–3 slots per line and day, each lasting 2.5–3 hours. The resort is focused on ski racing, with separate slopes allocated for recreational skiing.
